Lean Six Sigma – Continuous Training on Campus At Lipscomb University
Westbrook Stevens, LLC has teamed with the RGP Nashville Office, Lipscomb University’s College of Computing and Technology, and VMEdu’s 6Sigmastudy to offer ongoing Lean Six Sigma Training in 2016. Come join us and earn your Lean Six Sigma and Six Sigma Belts.
We will meet half days on Fridays from 2:00 PM CST to 6:00 PM CST on the Lipscomb University campus in the College of Computing and Technology. During these interactive workshops, you can earn a bunch of Lean Six Sigma and Six Sigma belts.
On Campus at Lipscomb University:
Starting on Friday February 26 2016 – Quality-Friday-Half-days workshops from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
Dates may shift some as required by participates.
Ongoing Training… Only 4 hours on Fridays. You receive:
- Service/Healthcare – Lean Six Sigma (S/H-LSS) White Belt – Designed for organizations’ executive leadership. The purpose is to explain the Lean Six Sigma program and culture at a very high level. The S/H-LSS program is specifically designed to show nontechnical employees how to make substantial improvements to processes and systems using a three phase approach. It is specifically designed for Service Organizations using Healthcare examples.
- Service/Healthcare – Lean Six Sigma (S/H-LSS) Yellow Belt – Designed for the practitioners who will implement the programs. The Yellow Belt is an overview to explain the Lean Six Sigma program and culture at a high level. This program is simplified to teach nontechnical employees how to make substantial improvements to processes and systems. It is specifically designed for Service Organizations using Healthcare examples.
- You can also earn a Traditional Six Sigma Yellow Belt through at the same time.
- You can also earn a Traditional Six Sigma Yellow Belt through at the same time.
- Service/Healthcare – Lean Six Sigma (S/H-LSS) Green Belt – Designed for practitioners to implement the Lean Six Sigma program and help build the culture at a detailed level. This program is simplified to teach nontechnical employees how to make substantial improvements to processes and systems within their own department. It is specifically designed for Service Organizations using Healthcare examples. At the same time you can obtain one or both of the following:
- Traditional Six Sigma Green Belt – Designed to teach the traditional Six Sigma.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt – Designed to teach the traditional approach to both Lean and Six Sigma.
- Service/Healthcare – Lean Six Sigma (S/H-LSS) Black Belt – Designed for practitioners to master the Lean Six Sigma program and to help master building a culture of improvement at a detailed level. This program is simplified to teach nontechnical employees how to make substantial improvements to processes and systems throughout the organization. It is specifically designed for Service Organizations using Healthcare examples. At the same time you can obtain one or both of the following:
- Traditional Six Sigma Black Belt – Designed to teach the traditional Six Sigma.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt – Designed to teach the traditional approach to both Lean and Six Sigma.
- Service/Healthcare – Lean Six Sigma (S/H-LSS) Master Black Belt – Designed for practitioners to master and lead the mentoring and training of others in the Lean Six Sigma program. The Master Black Belt can run the Lean Six Sigma Program and develop a culture of improvement throughout the organization. At the Master Black Belt level, we learn about systems thinking, program management, and cultural/organizational development. It is specifically designed for Service Organizations using Healthcare examples.
Phase One: White and Yellow Belts
Service/Healthcare Lean Six Sigma (S/H-LSS) White Belt: This four hour workshop leads to a S/H-LSS White Belt is specifically designed for leaders of service organizations to understand the the big picture of Lean Six Sigma. We use an easy three phased process of “Assessment, Problem Solving, and Implementation” so that even the least technical employees can apply what they learn.

Service/Healthcare Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt: This four hour workshop builds on the S/H-LSS White Belt and leads to a S/H-LSS Yellow Belt. The Service/Healthcare Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt is designed for the practitioner of LSS. During this workshop you will get an overview of how what LSS is, its history, and how it is used. With the four hour Healthcare Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt you also get a free online 6SigmaStudy Six Sigma Yellow Belt course. Therefore, you can earn both the Healthcare LSS Yellow Belt and a Six Sigma Yellow Belt at the same time.

- Designed for Practitioners who want understand the basics of Lean Six Sigma

Phase Two: Three Green Belts
Service/Healthcare Lean Six Sigma (S/H LSS) Green Belt, and Traditional Six Sigma (SS) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belts: During the Service/Healthcare LSS Green Belt Training you will learn how to apply LEAN in a service environment and be introduced to the most applicable Lean and Six Sigma concepts and tools.
- Quality Friday 8 Half-day Sessions March (11, 18, 25), April (1, 15, 22, 29,) and May 6, 2016, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
- Designed for Practitioners who want to master the Lean Six Sigma concepts and tools in a service environment,
- Earn a Service/Healthcare Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (Certification from Westbrook Stevens, RGP, and Lipscomb University)
- Suggestion (Take the White Belt and Yellow Belt also) Make-up days are available
- Online training material included
- Support in developing and managing improvement projects
