Dove in the Storm
The Dove in the Storm Painted by Craig A. Stevens:
Note from the artist – A few years ago, in a Church not so far away, a friend showed me a photograph of a cloud-dove in the midst of an approaching storm. This image was so striking that I had to try to paint it. Well, my attempt to reproduce the original one painted by God did not even come close. The same is true about our image which is supposed to reflect God’s love, we will never be perfect but we must try. So what does God’s word say about love?
1 Corinthians 13:4-8New International Version (NIV)
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away.
